Agency: Russia’s new LCV market rises 7% to 13,300 in Dec 2019
MOSCOW, Jan 15 (PRIME) -- The Russian market of new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) expanded by 7.1% on the year to 13,300 cars in December 2019, research agency Autostat reported on Tuesday.
In 2019, the market remained flat on the year at 112,100 cars.
Carmaker GAZ Group maintained the leading position last year with sales rising 3.1% to 50,700 vehicles. Sales of UAZ dropped 3.7% to 17,300 units, of Ford rose 13% to 13,000 units, of AvtoVAZ’ brand Lada went up 3.4% to 11,100 cars, and of Volkswagen rose 3.5% to 5,700 units.
